ग्रामीण युवकों को तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण मुहैया कर स्वरोजगार के लिए प्रेरित कर रहा है सेल  नक्सलवाद के इस दौर में युवकों को भटकने से रोक कर उन्हें तकनीकी प्रशिक्षण मुहैया करा स्वरोजगार के लिए स्टील अथॉरिटी ऑफ़ इंडिया लिमिटेड प्रतिबद्ध है| निगमित सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व के तहत आज ४० आदिवासी युवकों का डेढ़ महीने से चल रहा प्रशिक्षण सोसाइटी ऑफ़ रूरल इंडस्ट्रीलाइजेशन संस्थान बरियातू में संपन्न हुआ|  इसमें झारखण्ड के सुदूर गाँवों से आये ४० प्रतिभागियों ने विद्युत् संचालन, मोटरसाइकिल अभियांत्रिकी, डीज़ल पम्प मरम्मत, मैसन एवं कारपेंट्री की दक्षता प्राप्त की| इनमे ३४ युवकों का स्वरोजगार का संकल्प है जबकि ६ प्रशिक्षुओं को हीरो हौंडा में नौकरी मिल चुकी है|
